you know, i have an affinity for luxury. not necessarily goods, well some goods, but for the luxury EXPERIENCE. i am not well off or well to do but i feel like this, "if the Good Lord has allowed me to have a decent income then i will use it wisely to enjoy my short time on Earth". that is my philosophy. living BIG on a budget without or incurring ridiculous debt.
i love lounging...i really do BUT i love it even more when i do it in style. i seek out new and interesting activities that will add VALUE and afford me the experience i consider luxury. i really feel that this can be done on any budget so long as one sticks to the his/her plan.
STAY-CATIONS are part of the affordable luxury experience for my family. i like experiencing new hotels in the city. i mean when we go to different hotels around the Atlanta area we never feel like we are still in Atlanta. it's mainly because we live north of the city don't experience the city life as much unless we go for something specific. it always feels like a new city that has yet to be traveled and documented. YOU should try it sometime because even the most expensive hotel stay will be more reasonable than leaving the city by plane to vacay somewhere else. UNLESS you are going on a beach vacay.
The W and Starwood Hotels are the reason for my luxury Stay-cation experience. the service, the attitude, and the feel of the Starwood Brand...it just does something for me that transforms the moment. you should really give them a try if you haven't. the amenities, as you can see from me going "ham" on the photos, are luxurious. the staff is warm and the feel of their hotels is just, well, luxury.
i look forward to sharing more of my artistic journey with you. by continuing to capture weddings, fashion, various travels, eateries, and hotels i hope to share with you a different kind of photography blog. one centered on living a luxurious life, not one of shallow depth, but one of experience. a blog that infuses a passion for art with a moderation of style, substance and easy living. i don't break the bank for my experiences. if you get a chance join Expedia or Book-it there are always great deals on either site. also check out Trip Advisor because i use them for reviews of the various places we visit.
